Purplex was founded by Managing
Director Andrew Scott in 2004.
Andrew had worked as a consultant
with a number of companies
previously and was instrumental in
the growth, acquisition and sale of
several well known window and
conservatory companies.
A Fellow of the Institute of Sales
Management and an accredited member
of the Institute of Direct
Marketing, Andrew master-minded the
restructure and phenomenal growth of trade
super-fabricator Cambrian Windows
Ltd - which grew from 250 to 2,500
frames per week in less than four
years,
before the business was acquired by
US Fortune 500 Company Masco.
Today, at over £12m turnover,
Cambrian is still one of the most
profitable fabricators in the UK.
Andrew was also a director of the Omega
Group and has personally acquired and
developed a number of retail
companies. In 2004 he sold his
trade-counter chain, Masterglaze, to Burles Group Plc.
Purplex was established from a
